Season Ticket holders and bonding with fellow Employees

Over the past month it is safe to say that through working on a close basis with the other interns and team leaders, we have certainly built an open enjoyable atmosphere. This is very helpful from an interns point of view. When it is very easy to openly talk to the team leaders and managers you find yourself in a position where you can ask more questions, and maybe even questions that interns would normally feel uncomfortable about asking.

Recently the Ticket Services Department has been promoting their yearly offer, too which every season ticket holder receives free tickets for games in the later months of the season. 10 and 20 game season ticket holders will receive 2 free tickets, where as the year long season ticket holders will receive 4 free tickets. This offer requires us interns, along with a few of the team leaders and other fellow employees to mail out the vounchers. This wasn't just any regular mailing procedure, we had roughly 4,000 season ticket holders to mail out to! So as you can imagine it was a very long process lasting roughly a week. It was also a procedure that Regis (head of the department) wanted to make sure was done at a proffessional manner, ensuring that the season ticket holders are happy and maintained with the Brewers service.

As you can imagine, when you are inside mailing letters all day, it is imperative an atmosphere must be created to ensure the experience is still enjoyable. We have built quite a few relationships inside the department, especially with team leaders Tom and Mike. Team leaders Tom and Mike have a relationship which include a lot of 'banter', banter which we have now joined in on, including jokes about Mikes eating habits and his so called lazy manner. But bar all the jokes, these two guys are strong workers who provide a great experience for us interns.

I will continue to enjoy the atmosphere that has now been created in the office and the knowledge that I am constantly absorbing.
